Great news, the registration for the Open Dutch Sailing Championships, part of the Allianz Regatta, is now open! This event will take place at a new location this year and will be held from 27-29 May. The location is the southern part of the IJsselmeer in Almere, close to Amsterdam. About the Open Dutch Sailing Championships
The Open Dutch Sailing Championships will for the first time be held directly preceding the Hempel World Cup Series at exactly the same location. Competitors of the Open Dutch Championships will therefore compete in exactly the same waters as the best sailors in the world only a few days earlier! This is the start of a great new tradition connecting open sailing to world class sailing.

Allianz Regatta part of Dutch Water Week
The Allianz Regatta is part of a new great watersports event, the Dutch Water Week. From 27th May until 5th June not only some of the best competitors will compete in the Allianz Regatta, also a sorts of watersports fans can take part and enjoy a wide scale of events such as e-foiling, wake boarding, canoe, sup, coastal rowing and much more. Dutch Water Week also includes the successful ‘Optimist on Tour’ for children, the ‘Urban Water Sports’ events in Amsterdam and the Proef Pampus Festival, a culinary highlight on the unique island of the same name.
