Registrations open for first edition of Allianz Regatta

Registration for the first edition of the Allianz Regatta from 2 – 13 June is open for international Olympic sailing classes only. The reason for this adjustment is to be able to organise a safe tournament in compliance with the, at that time, applicable Corona measures and at the same time meet the demand of a large group of international racing sailors for an ultimate test on their way to Tokyo 2020ne. Does this sound like you? Please register now at www.allianzregatta.org.

From 2 to 13 June, we will cast off the ropes. We are preparing to organize a safe tournament in compliance with the then current Corona measures. We start from 2 to 6 June with the ILCA, RS:X and NACRA 17 classes. From 9 to 13 June, it’s the turn for the 470, Finn, 49er and 49er FX classes.

More about Allianz Regatta

The event has been reinvented in November 2020 but has a rich past. The Allianz Regatta builds on the legacy of the Spa-, Holland- and Delta Lloyd Regatta. Since 1985 this tournament has been one of the leading European Olympic sailing events. The Allianz Regatta is proud to continue the legacy and set the bar even higher in the coming years. Good to mention; Allianz is not only naming partner of the Allianz Regatta but also the Youth Sailing World Championships in 2022 and the Sailing World Championships in 2023, which both will be held in The Hague.

Looking forward to it!

Enthusiastically, Nicholas Heiner emphasizes what is so great about this event: “The Allianz Regatta is known as an international top event. It’s cool that this series is being revived and I get the chance of racing in my own country against the best in the world. I am very much looking forward to it!”
